SMALL GROUPS
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
Community is found in the relationships built through the small groups ministries at Mt. Zion. The primary places to connect in a small group are Sunday School and D-Groups.

Sunday School
Sunday School at Mt. Zion consists of small group Bible studies designed to foster close relationships, lead people to faith in Jesus Christ, and build Great Commission Christians through Bible study that engages people in evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry and worship.
Sunday School Classes are OPEN GROUPS, meaning you can join a group anytime on Sunday mornings. We would be honored to have you join a class.
Our Sunday School classes meet at 10 am on Sundays. We have classes for all ages and invite you to join us. Preschool and children can check-in to Sunday School on the 2nd floor of our main worship building. Our youth meet is the chapel that is located in in front of the main worship building.

D-Groups
Our mission statement at Mt. Zion is to Glorify God by Making Disciples of All Nations. We believe disciple-making should be the priority of every follower of Jesus Christ. Disciple-making involves studying God's Word together in the context of relationships.
This process includes encouragement, accountability, prayer, and reliance upon the Holy Spirit. One avenue to pursue intentional discipleship is through getting involved
in a D-Group.
D-Groups are CLOSED GROUPS, meaning they are by invitation only as there is covenant commitment. You can contact our Pastor of Discipleship for more details about when and how to join a group.
Each D-Group consists of 4-5 people who commit one year to meeting weekly to discuss God's Word, pray, encourage, and commit to Scripture memory. Groups are gender-specific.
